Bamboo Is The Way To Go

I've been thinking of ways I can contribute to preserving the Earth.  I like checking out eco friendly ways to shop.  I've learned a bit about bamboo and am impressed.  First of all, it's one of the world's fastest growing plants.  It doesn't use agriculteral pesticides or dangerous insecticides.  There's a cool store online called Green Core  They sell bamboo towels and offer a nice variety in color.  And they are reasonably priced.  Check them out, they're awesome!

Thursday, September 3, 2009

Hi, I'm getting involved with this blog so I can share my jewelry creations with you. I also want to share the work of other Etsians. I have a lot of Etsy shops that I follow everyday and love, love, love to see what other people are making.

I have other ideas for this blog like I might have a section with recipes, or share my pictures, or show my works in progress. To date, I've never really maintained a blog for any long period of time. But I've decided that since I love to write and love to make jewelry, the two could team up together and make a difference.

I'm really excited about this so check back regularly for fun updates.
